Serving those living with physical disabilities, The Seven Project focuses on day-to-day quality-of-life enhancement through fitness, nutrition, and support.
The Seven Project is a lifestlyle movement based on seven core covenants; COMMITMENT, DETERMINATION, FAITH, FORTITUDE, SUPPORT, VITALITY, & WELLNESS.
By applying a wellness approach towards your environment, community, belief systems, physical activities, self care, and healthy eating, we can create a healthier, more quality-filled life for ourselves.
The Uppertone Gym allows for a person in a seated position to increase upper body strength and tone. All exercises and resistance adjustments can be done without hand-grip strength.
Boxing increases both strength and cardiovascular health, while also relieving stress and building coordination.
The Glider provides active standing technology. Standing carries numerous benefits, from cardiovascular to bone health.
Resistance bands are easily adaptable for multiple fitness levels and conditions. They allow for modifying familiar exercises, while adding a variety of levels of resistance for strength training.
The Seven Project includes a variety of adaptive strength training stations which allows clients with different strengths to perform at a comfortable level with little or no assistance, and get a complete and total workout.
Functional electric stimulation, such as the RT300, uses pulses of electrical current to stimulate peripheral nerves, generating muscle contractions and pattern muscle activity. Active therapy allows muscles to do the work they are meant to do, and it means that muscles are working and becoming more conditioned to help a client reach his/her fitness goals.
The Seven Project acts as a non-medical, adaptive fitness facility, primarily serving those living with physical disability, through exercise, nutrition, and support.
The grand opening of The Seven Project was April 9, 2019, at 1308 West Nine Mile Rd., Suite 5, Pensacola, Fl, 32534.
All services will be provided by both paid and volunteer, certified professionals in each particular field.
The Seven Project is a proud partner of The Rehab Foundation of NWFL, which provides four month grants for four up to qualified applicants , every four months.
