Our aim has been to serve as a blueprint for a sustainable lifestyle transformation. By implementing our proven brand of physical training, nutritional education/coaching, and team-building through a peer support system, we are making a lasting impact on our community by striving to reach endless goals of improving the lives of our clients, and creating a greater quality of everyday life, for each and every one, regardless of their circumstance.
We all know someone living with a disabling condition. But, have we all considered what happens after a person has reached the cap that our modern healthcare system places on rehabilitation opportunities?
It is with great privilege that we introduce you to our nonprofit, adaptive gym. We are a dedicated group, paving the way for becoming the standard of a non-medical, fitness-driven, lifestyle movement; one we have formulated specially for individuals living with physical disabilities.
Since opening our doors in April 2019, we have served clients living with various disabilities, through certified professionals in each field of our primary services; adaptive fitness, nutrition, and peer support. Ranging from Spinal Cord and Brain Injury, to Cerebral Palsy, Transverse Myelitis, Chiari Malformation, Stroke, and more, our dedicated members continue to exceed their goals such as weight management, medication control, increased strength and mobility, and an enhancement in ADLs (activities of daily living).
As a 501©(3) organization, we depend greatly on our community’s participation. By supporting The Seven Project, you are helping to sustain a more practical and long-term opportunity for a continuum of care for our disabled community. We believe that by taking a proactive approach to health and wellness, a person living with mobility issues can not only breakdown barriers, but also avoid some of the common secondary complications related to heart health, bone health, skin health, and even mental health, to only name a few. Our program has rapidly become a beacon of hope, as well as a positive source for those striving for encouragement, motivation and sense of normalcy.
If you’re unable to contribute to a current event but would like to know more about ways to help, we invite you to call or make an appointment to visit our facility. We value your support. Please consider contributing to our mission to enhance the quality-of-life of those living with physical disability.
The Seven Project acts as a non-medical, adaptive fitness facility, primarily serving those living with physical disability, through exercise, nutrition, and support.
